Computer Literacy

computer literacy 07The Literacy Council of Wood County (LCWC) provides area adults training in basic computer literacy. Thanks to a donation of computers from the Marshfield Clinic, we are able to offer basic computer skills classes throughout the county.

We work with any adult 18 and older to teach them basic computer skills.

For adults 55 and older, we partner with Senior Citizen Employment & Training to use Generations On Line at the Wisconsin Rapids Resource Center.

computer literacy 09Adults in either program learn how to search the Internet, how to set up email accounts, and how to look for employment and complete on-line applications.
