Adult Basic Education (ABE)

The Literacy Council of Wood County (LCWC) provides tutoring to area adults who want to improve their English reading, writing, speaking, and basic math skills. We also provide tutoring in civics, basic computer skills, and health literacy.

Adult Basic Education small group

Adult students work with trained volunteer tutors to develop basic reading, speaking, writing and math skills, depending on the student’s needs and interests.

Tutors can also help with civics, basic computer and health literacy.
